DAIKON RADISH MICROGREENS is often used in sushi and other dishes where a little spice is welcomed. It is a cruciferous vegetable and is related to broccoli, kale and cabbage. It has beautiful bright green leaves and does have a spicy kick to it, but can be mellowed if parred with other non-spicy microgreens such as the ones mentioned above. It's versatile because its flavor blends well with so many types of foods! It's considered a super-food because its nutrition is super concentrated at this baby-plant stage. It's really remarkable.
Add them to salad, atop soups, on sandwiches, BUT most enjoyed as a garnish for cooked meat dishes, especially fish!
